Patty Schaffer Hi! My name is Patty Schaffer and I live in a rural area north of Allentown, Pennsylvania. I have always loved being creative and all things homemade. I started designing my own cards when I was about 8 or so and my mom and grammy were frequent recipients. I have a degree in Graphic Design and love how scrapbooking combines my passion for design and making handmade keepsakes. I am a touchy-feely kind of gal, so I love lots of texture and layers and my work is very dimensional. When I am not designing or scrapbooking, I am busy being a wife to Todd and raising our two children, Sarah and Ben. I try to squeeze in gardening when I can - my herb garden is my pride and joy. I am a voracious reader; I have a huge selection of idea books and I am an addict of home decorating and craft magazines. Photography is another hobby of mine and I am constantly striving to improve my picture-taking skills. Read more about Patty on her blog. |

I am new to digital and am super excited about the challenges and flexibility it offers. The possibilities are endless. When I am not heads down creating, I am busy being a mom. Mimi Leinbach Hi, my name is Mimi Leinbach and I am 36 years old. Yikes! I am a SAHM to 2 soccer loving boys Nick(11) and Jack(7) and when I am not scrapping I can be sure to be found at a soccer game or helping out at school. I have been married to Josh for 14 years. He has given me the freedom to indulge myself in this hobby and I just adore him for it. You could say I am obsessed, completely and totally. I have been scrapping for 11+ years now and I would say my style is ever changing. I like to try every technique at least once and some a lot more. I have a passion for patterned paper, to which I just can't seem to get enough. I have been published several times in Memory Makers Magazine and Books, Scrapbooking and Cards Today, Scrapbook Trends as well as Scrapbooking and Beyond magazine. I have designed for both manufacturers and stores and I am thrilled to be joining the team at Marks Paper Company. Read more about Mimi on her blog. |
Sharmaine Kruijver I'm Sharmaine I live in beautiful Tasmania, Australia and think it is the most wonderful of places to live. I am married to Superman Dave and we have 4 girls, ranging in ages from 5 to 11. Life has picked up pace this year and I often wonder where time goes. I started scrapbooking in 2005 and my style and stash have been evolving ever since!!! I love to use words and pictures to share my story and am happy when I can tell it the way I see it. I love to share words of wisdom for our girls and using scrapping is a great way to pass on wise knowledge, they can't answer me back that way lol. I think that my style changes depending on the layout I am making at the time. I adore all things paper, love trying new techniques and am not afraid of getting a little messy with paint, ink or mists. I am looking forward to the challenge that digital/hybrid scrapping will provide and feel very blessed to have been chosen to be a part of the Digital/Hybrid team. Very honored to be amongst all these amazing scrappers and thankful to Stacy for the opportunity and believing in my abilities. Read more about Sharmaine on her blog. |
Patricia Komara Hi everyone. My name is Patricia Komara (Patty). I started scrapbooking in the fall of 2006. I love creating handmade cards and keepsakes for family and friends that document the big and small moments in our lives. From the beginning, I've been a hybrid girl. At first it was just printing the journaling for layouts onto cardstock or patterned papers. Now I really enjoy creating all types of hybrid projects. I believe it offers the best of both worlds: the speed and endless flexibility of digital combined with the textural and hand crafted qualities of tangible paper crafting. My artistic background includes formal training in watercolor, pencil sketching, 3-D design, book binding, graphic design, and design theory. My day job as an urban planner and landscape architect has enabled me to stay current with digital arts technologies since college, which means I've been using Adobe products for over 15 years. Yikes!) I think I have a purposeful design style. I typically don't like to digitally add elements that serve a functional purpose (like paper clips or string) or represent a non-paper material (like glitter or gems). I prefer those items to be real and added to the project in the "traditional" way. It's not a hard and fast rule, just a guiding inspiration for me. I also try to be "green" whenever possible, by repurposing old holiday cards, gift boxes, containers, etc. into my projects. I am very excited about this opportunity to be part of the Marks Paper Company Design Team and to work with their fabulous products! I am completely energized by designing and creating. I sincerely hope that my work here will make you smile, and, when you need it, give you that creative jump start! Read more about Patricia on her blog. |
Amanda Wittenborn Hi everyone! My name is Amanda Wittenborn and I live in the Chicago suburbs with my husband David (almost 8 years!) son Zachary (4) and Joshua (born 10/18/09). We also live with our crazy animals Cosmo (our dog), Nacho and Cheetoh our 2 orange cats. Not only am I a stay at home mom to my two beautiful boys, I also teach private piano and voice lessons out of my home to allow me to stay home with them. My education and background is in music but I have always been extremely creative and artistic. I have always been up to something crafty since I was a little girl, but after attending a stamping workshop I became extremely hooked on stamping and card making. I dabbled in scrapbooking here and there, but it wasn't until the birth of my first son that I really became interested in that. Scrapbooking pictures of my kids is not only a fun creative outlet for me, but I feel I am leaving them something they will cherish. I only recently got into digital scrapbooking and I love all the endless possibilities it brings. It is a whole new level of creativity for me to explore. And the best part is I never run out of paper or embellishments! Well and when I digi scrap my desk stays clean too! For me the fun is in designing and working with kits in many different ways. I challenge myself to use kits for things other than they were obviously meant for. I hope I am able to show you a new way to use your products that you might not have thought of! I am thrilled to be joining this design team, I have wanted to be a "designer" for a while now and I finally got my chance! Read more about Amanda on her blog. |
Deanna Kroll Hi everyone! My name is Deanna and I am 35 years old. I am an RN and divored mom to my loving son, Gavin (5). He not only fills my life with alot of love and joy he is also my main subject of scrapping, as is our new addition to the family, our puppy Isaac. I have been scrapping since 2001, and it has become such a big part of my life. My scrapping has been my artistic, therapeutic and experimental outlet. I love to work with all kinds of projects, from traditional scrapping, to digital, hybrid to altered/home decor items, and you'll even see my card creations from time to time. I would describe my style as eclectic, as I will work with any style, and let the photo speak for how my layouts turn out. I have been published in many magazines, including Memory Makers, Scapbook Trends, Cantata Books and serveral e-zines. I have designed for many online teams and one other manufacturer, and I am so excited to be joining the team here with Marks Paper Company! Read more about Deanna on her blog. |
Joyce McCall I'm a married mom of 2 boys and 2 Pugs, and I work PT as a nurse. I play the drums, volunteer at church, and read lots and lots of books. I try to scrapbook or do something creative everyday! I have always created scrapbooks - even as a kid - but I started doing digital and hybrid scrapbooking about two years ago. I have taught scrapbooking and card making classes for four years at my LSS and I have been on their design teams as well. In 2009 QuicKutz selected me for their Ambassador Program. I shoot most of my pictures with my Nikon D60 (which my very supportive hubby got me for Christmas 2 years ago!). I use Photoshop Elements (latest version) to do my digital creating. Casey Wright Hi! My name is Casey Wright and I'm a hardworking mom who spends as much time with my family as I can. I reside in the Midwest with my husband Jacob, and daughter Peyton. I have been crafting pages for about ten years, but my love for scrapbooking brought on new meaning after the birth of my daughter. Now, I would say that I'm officially obsessed with everything that is scrapbooking. I like the flexibility of moving back and forth between digital and tradition forms of scrapbooking, depending on my mood and what I want to create. I also like to work with a lot of different mediums and work those kinds of elements into my creations. For me, scrapbooking isn't just a hobby, it brings a bit of therapy at the end of my day and helps me take that much needed time for myself. It also has the great benefit of capturing everyday life so that we can enjoy the memories for many years to come. I'm so excited to be a part of the design team for Stacy and the Marks Paper Company and look forward to working with the very talented design team. Thank you so much for the opportunity!
